3 Easy Ways to Match Your Foundation
Trying to accurately match your foundation is probably once of the hardest beauty tasks to accomplish. Here are three easy steps that might help you narrow down your options and find a foundation shade that works!
Easy Way Number One.
Take the foundation and swatch it on the center of your chest. Use your fingers or a brush to see if it blends in. If the foundation is close to the right shade and undertone, it should look like this, and disappear into the skin
If your face is darker than your chest like me, you might want to try Easy Way Number Two.
Easy Way Number two.
Take the foundation and swatch in on your jawline. Typically our skin is darker around the perimeter and lighter in the center, so if your foundation matches your jawline, it will match your whole face. Don’t be scared if the foundation looks too dark at first. You can add a concealer with the right undertone under your eyes to make everything come together.
Easy Way Number three.
Apply the foundation to your face and take a “Flash Test” photo with your phone. If your face looks good with flash, then you have a match!
