Here are some of the best lip formulas that have launched this year.
MAC RETRO MATTE LIQUID LIP COLOUR
We were actually first introduced to this formula towards the end of 2016, but MAC took a bunch of feedback on this product and gave us new shades and an improved formula in 2017. This is probably my favorite liquid lipstick formula to date. These lipsticks are matte but comfortable; opaque but super transfer proof. They are seriously a must have!
NARS POWERMATTE LIP PIGMENT
NARS' Powermatte Lip Pigments are the brand's take on a liquid lipstick. The light pigmented formula is comfortable on the lips and comes in a number of very necessary shades.
Pat McGrath Lust MatteTrance
When Pat McGrath first launched her makeup brand, most of us couldn't contain ourselves. She has continued to bring the heat with permanent lines of eye shadow palettes, lip kits, and traditional lipsticks. The matte lipsticks are especially creamy, pigmented and definitely pack a punch!
FENTY BEAUTY GLOSS BOMB UNIVERSAL LIP LUMINIZER + STUNNA LIP PAINT LONGWEAR FLUID LIP COLOR
Fenty Beauty made the interesting choice to release two new lipstick formulas that have only one shade. The Gloss Bomb lip gloss is super universal and complimentary to just about everyone. The Stunna lip paint is extremely pigmented and literally glides on your lips. I have high hopes that we will get more shades of these two lippie formulas in 2018.
