Cocoa Color Story : "By Your Side" Sade Inspired

The minimalist in me keeps gravitating toward soft, yet striking looks. I was listening to some Sade the other day and instantly remembered this iconic photo of her.

I decided to take a stab at this no make up, make up look and try my hand at creating faux freckles. Check out the final creation and swatches inspired by this look below!

From T to B:

I used Makeup Forever's Artist Liquid Matte Lipstick in 401 RED ($20.00) to stain the lip. I used Marena Beaute's Setting Powder in EBENE ($42.00) to contour the face and eyes. I used Wet n Wild Kohl Eye Liner in Simma Brown Now! ($1.00) to line my waterline and create the faux freckles. I used Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen in Black ($12.00) to line my eyes.
