NYFW: Backstage with MAYBELLINE for GCDS
I had the privilege of going backstage with Maybelline for the GCDS RTW SS18 runway show! I was so pleased with the diversity I witnessed -- from the variety of complexions to the varying hair textures, to the athleisure aesthetic mixed with a glamour attitude, this show was everything.
Maybelline was the perfect brand to pair with GCDS' collection. Their large foundation shade range and poppin' color cosmetics complimented the GCDS collection beautifully. Check out photos and deets below!

My favorite look of the day involved clean, structured skin with a white graphic eye. It was such an understated yet bold and powerful look that really complimented the aesthetic of the collection to a tee.

Key Artist for this show, Grace Lee, said " For brows, I use the Maybelline Precise Micro Pencil and I love setting it with the Clear Great Lash Mascara."
Another artist explained how they got the teal shadow to *pop*! She said, " I use the Waterproof Maybelline Gel pencil in "Cashmere White," so it allows the the teal pigment to pick up."
Overall this was an amazing experience! Its so refreshing to see such a gorgeous diverse runway show teamed with an equally diverse beauty brand.
